Wine Review: This yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc is very good. It opens with a grapefruit bouquet with notes of passion fruit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, elegant and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty mild yellow grapefruit with notes of faint minerality and notes of lemon verbena and a touch of lime and dash of white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Sauvignon Blanc is very food friendly and would pair perfectly with bay scallops and linguini. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: We selected the best lots of the vintage, and then aged the wine nine months in the same large oak casks. Aging in large casks adds another layer of complexity and texture while highlighting the wonderful aromatics of grapefruit, tropical lime zest and a hint of oyster shell. The full mouthfeel, mouth-watering acidity and persistent finish make it the ideal wine with a goat cheese salad, spicy ceviche and Thai curry. Or, enjoy it all by itself as an aperitif!
