Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc from Greywacke opens with a musty wet stone bouquet with hints of gooseberry, petrol and faint lime. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and kinda round. The flavor profile is a pleasant mild flinty minerality and lime blend with hints of grapefruit and nectarine peach pit. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc with oysters on the half shell or baked Dover sole. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Imagine yellow-fleshed peaches, rock melon and blackcurrant – a sponge cake with lemon icing, chamomile and hints of rose petal. This is a delicately perfumed and deliciously ripe-fruited interpretation of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The palate is both subtle and textural, showing considerable ripeness and concentration, with a crisp and long, juicy finish.
