Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc always seems to shine in our blind tasting. It opens with an attractive mild gooseberry bouquet with a hint of tomato leaf and lemon grass. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, nicely balanced and has a round mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a very tasty gentle lime and ripe red ruby grapefruit with a hint of lemon and white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. The Panel suggested pairing this very good Sauvignon Blanc with seared scallops over Brussel sprouts. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Deliciously aromatic and highly perfumed, exuding ripe nectarine, pink grapefruit and lemon zest with a lifted floral fragrance reminiscent of jasmine and elderflower. Classic ripe Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc with melon and gooseberry flavors and a touch of passionfruit, wound into a generous, mouth-filling palate that finishes dry and crisp.
