Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand opens with a pleasant nose of cut grass, lemon and white grapefruit. On the palate, it is light to medium bodied with well-balanced clean acidity and a creamy mouthfeel. It displays lovely flavors of citrus; lemon-lime and grapefruit. We also detected some mild and pleasant minerality mixed in. The finish fades away nicely. We would pair this very good value Sauvignon Blanc with sautéed shrimp over linguine with a creamy lemon garlic sauce. - Karen & Stuart
Winemaker Notes: The 2019 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is loaded with tropical aromas of passionfruit and guava as well as grapefruit and fresh cut grass. The punchy palate reveals vibrant flavors of lemon-lime citrus, guava, pineapple and pink grapefruit. An incredibly aromatic wine with an inviting, soft texture and zippy acidity.
