Wine Review: This medium purple colored Shiraz from Greg Norman opens with a mild blueberry and red plum bouquet with hints of damp forest floor and espresso. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and juicy with bright acidity. The flavor profile is a spicy red plum and red currant blend with notes of clove and craisin. We also detected some hints of bittersweet chocolate and faint boysenberry mixed in. The finish is dry and its acidity, mild tannins and a little bit of heat reasonably drift away. We would pair this good value Shiraz with a tangy pulled pork sandwich or with a wild boar Bolognese sauce served over pappardelle. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Bright aromas of ripe black and blue fruits are complemented by holiday spice notes on the nose. The medium to full-bodied palate shows layers of cola, black cherry, mixed berry jam and cloves. The wine is juicy and plush with a firm structure and balanced acidity.
