Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with black plum and gentle cedar bouquet with hints of black cherry, vanilla, and blood orange. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, super smooth, silky, and elegant. The flavor profile is black plum and fine stone minerality with notes of black cherry. We also detected hints of cedar, blueberry, and black tea. It closes with a dry and tremendously extended finish that features refined tannins. The Tasting Panel would sip this Pinot on its own. With food, we would pair it with a filet mignon. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Beautifully complex and alluring, this remarkable wine embodies the majesty of the Anderson Valley, offering tantalizing aromas of Luxardo cherry, blackberry compote, white pepper, and sweet baking spices, as well as hints of star anise and sea breeze salinity. On the palate, luxurious black and red berry flavors are framed by plush tannins and bright, balanced acidity. Beneath the fruit, subtle layers of earthy minerality emerge to create a lush and sophisticated finish.
