Wine Review: This straw-colored Sparkling Wine from Gloria Ferrer displays lots of random small and medium bubbles. It opens with a mild bread dough and honey crisp apple bouquet. We also detected hints of lemon and ginger. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, delicate, and bright . The flavor profile is a brioche, green apple and chalky minerality blend with notes of ginger. We also detected some hints of citrus. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity have very nice length. This classy sparkler would pair nicely with broiled scallops. Enjoy – Ken & Mark

Winemaker Notes: This sparkler opens with aromas of cherry cream soda and citrus. Juicy fuji apple greets the palate followed fresh navel orange and a hint of lemongrass that leads to a lingering creamy finish. The lush minerality of this blend lends itself to a variety of pairings. Start with ratatouille with creamy polenta or even French Fries with béarnaise sauce will pair with the robust flavors created by this blend.
