Wine Review: This deep yellow colored Chard opens with a fragrant lemon and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, rich, round and shows just a little acidity. The flavor profile is a butterscotch and mild lemon blend with notes of nicely integrated oak. A true California styled Chardonnay. The finish is dry and food friendly. This wine would pair well with Maryland crab cakes. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Complex ripe pear, citrus and honeysuckle aromas and background hints of hazelnut and baked apple announce this lovely Chardonnay. Smooth and round on the palate, the wine shows firm structure, ripe Gravenstein apple and rich lemony flavors that linger throughout the long, refreshing finish. Delicious with lobster, fresh oysters, sea bass, roast chicken and wild mushroom risotto.
