Wine Review: This almost clear colored Gewurtz opens with a faint light lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced and clean. The flavor profile is a green pear with a hint of spice and a touch of lime. The finish is dry and refreshing. This wine would pair well with steamed mussels in a white wine and lemon broth. Winemaker Notes: Our Gewurztraminer has delicate floral aromas with moderate acidity that is balanced by very light sweetness on the finish. The grapes for out Gewurztraminer came from a meticulously maintained vineyard that is within view of our Tasting Room. This bright, flavorful wine is ideally suited to intense, savory dishes found in Asian or Caribbean cuisine.
