Wine Review: This straw colored Chardonnay from South Africa opens with a fresh honeydew, grapefruit and wet stone bouquet. Although it has not been influenced by oak, it is still creamy and food friendly, with a good acid balance to keep it fresh. It is light to medium bodied with flavors of lime and tropical fruit. I also picked up some nicely integrated minerality. The clean citrus flavors linger though the long finish. This would go well with lemon roasted chicken. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: The Glass Collection (Unwooded) Chardonnay has a vibrant and brilliant color with a slight green hue. The wine offers complex aromas of citrus, lime zest and melon that lead to a beautiful, round texture on the palate with wonderful length and an intense fruit finish.
