Wine Review: This very pale yellow wine is Very Good. It is labeled as Chardonnay, however, it tastes more like a Sauvignon Blanc. I would have even scored it 89 points if it was labeled as a Sauvignon Blanc. It opens with a green pear bouquet with hints of green melon and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and crisp. Its flavor profile is a tangy green apple with notes of Anjou pear, minerality and hint of lime. The finish is dry and very refreshing as its spicy white pepper notes linger. I would pair this very good white wine with grilled swordfish. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This fresh, unoaked Chardonnay displays heady aromas of melon, citrus and ginger, followed by bright, clean citrus and tropical fruit flavors. A lovely leesy character adds a dash of elegance and complexity.
