Wine Review: This deep purple colored Shiraz opens with a ripe blackberry and wet stone bouquet with hints of spiced black plum and worn leather. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. We also found it to be balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty black raspberry and blackberry blend with notes of citrus and dark chocolate, tea, cooking spices and well-integrated oak. The finish is dry and its wonderful moderate dusty tannins and fruit are nicely extended. We would pair this very nice Shiraz and Cab blend with Brazilian beef off the skewer (churrasco) – Enjoy – Ken & Dave
Winemaker Notes: Impenetrable black with a hint of purple. A spectrum of spicy yet plummy fruit aromas with intense notes of licorice and mixed herbs. It displays dense dark flavors yet with freshness and drive. A wine that will mature extremely well with long term cellaring up to 20 years.
