Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Chardonnay opens with a vanilla oak bouquet with hints of pear, pineapple and lemon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, mildly acidic and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a spiced poached pear with some notes of old vanilla oak and hints of lemon and green apple. The finish is dry and its mild oak notes linger slightly. The panel suggested pairing this very nice Chard with grilled chicken marinated in Ken’s creamy Caesar dressing or Chilean sea bass. Enjoy – KWGTP
