Wine Review: This red colored Nebbiolo is not your typical Nebbiolo. Instead, it is easy to drink and very approachable right away. It opens with a pleasant red cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a gentle cedar and cherry blend with hints faint minerality and plum. It closes with dry and gentle refined tannins that fade away nicely. This Nebbiolo is very food friendly and would pair nicely with bison burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine is only sold after maturing in the bottle for a year. It has a full ruby red color and with age it becomes slightly garnet red. Its bouquet is delicate and reminiscent of violets. It is dry, lively, and rather fruity when young. As it matures it gets soft, and velvety in the bottle. It is an excellent accompaniment to roasts, grilled meats and medium mature cheeses.
