Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Gamay opens with a faint black cherry bouquet with a hint of cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is a gentle plum with notes of strawberry and acai berry. The finish is rather dry and its dusty tannins stick around well after the wine is gone. This Beaujolais would pair nicely with slow cooked short ribs. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This 2011 Morgon has a brilliant garnet color. The nose offers stone fruit aromas and cherry notes. Fleshy, rich, full-bodied and fine tannins are well represented in the nice, long finish.
