Wine Review: This white gold colored Chardonnay opens with a mild butterscotch bouquet with a hint of vanilla oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a honeyed pear with a hint of apple, oak, and tangerine. The finish is dry and mild oak notes linger in the end. This Chard will appeal to readers who like aged wines. It will pair well with salty foods and went perfectly with our Nova Scotia halibut and pretzel rolls. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Soft golden color. This wine is very romantic with its beautiful complexity of vanilla and deliciously buttery aromas. On the palate it is rich, generous, and has a toasted almond finish ensuring a good potential for aging.
