Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple Beaujolais from Duboeuf opens with fragrant red raspberry and strawberry bouquet. One the palate this wine is medium bodied, lively, crisp and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a mild black raspberry with notes of gentle plum and a touch of oak. The finish is dry and it's moderate tannins are a touch sticky and linger. This is a very nice option to consider with a juicy burger off the grill. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Clear and bright garnet color. The nose is complex with relevant black fruits, macerated fruits and sweet spice aromas. This Fleurie is hearty, fleshy and rich, with a good concentration and fully matured tannins. Good length on the finish, with great aging potential.
