Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored wine opens with an oak and black raspberry bouquet with hints of plum. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, rather smooth and very approachable. The flavor profile is a gentle plum with hints of oak and blackberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are manageable, yet sticky. This cru level Beaujolais is very friendly and would pair perfectly with an Angus burger with sautéed mushrooms and Swiss. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The Brouilly flower label has a beautiful garnet color, and offers intense aromas of lush black fruits. Clean, lush and fruity, with an impressive tannic structure and long finish, it promises excellent aging potential.
