Wine Review: This ruby colored wine opens with a mild cherry vanilla bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, soft, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a very mild red and black raspberry blend with notes of spice and black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are manageable. This is a very food friendly wine that would nicely compliment Arctic Char. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2009 Fleurie Flower Label has an intense garnet color. The nose is complex and aromatic with floral scents (peony) and dark berry and spice aromas (pepper). On the palate, this Fleurie is vinous, full-bodied and robust, with virile tannins. Well-rounded and persistent, with a sumptuous peppery finish.
