Wine Review: This ruby colored wine opens with a mild truffle and gentle black raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth, and elegant. The flavor profile is a dusty mild oak and plum blend with just a touch of blueberry in the background. The finish is dry and its very big tannins are noticeably present for quite a while. This wine is big enough to be served with a ribeye in the near term otherwise cellar it for a few years. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A deep crimson color. The finesse, elegance, breeding and "Moulin a Vent" grain are fully expressed with the first aromas. A complex, intense nose of jammy dark berries with delightfully mellow hints of oak and toasting (vanilla, cinnamon stick). On the palate, this Moulin-a-Vent is vinous, rich, harmonious and powerful with a remarkably smooth finish. A wine of character, well crafted, and sumptuous – one to lay down for many years!
