Wine Review: This expressive Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley opens with aromas of boiling hard candy braced by lilac floral notes and tarragon and anise herbal notes. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and juicy. There is an abundance of fruit flavor built from a fully ripe cherry core, followed by wild strawberry and cranberry, with ribbons of red currant preserves and red licorice. The fruit is supported by refreshing acidity and fine minerality, while the modest oak treatment and gentle tannins carry the wine to an extraordinary finish. This is an elegant Pinot Noir to savor with fine preparations of lamb or veal. - Jeoff
Winemaker Notes: This elegant Pinot Noir opens with alluring aromas of Bing cherry, pomegranate, boysenberry syrup and preserved raspberries. Flavors of Cremini mushrooms and cherry cola with hints of white pepper and clove unfold on the palate. The supple tannins develop into a soft, silky finish complimented with abundant acidity on the finish.
