Wine Review: This translucent and ruby colored Pinot Noir from Gary Farrell opens with an oak and cherry bouquet with hints of strawberry, raspberry and vanilla. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and smooth with pleasantly integrated acidity. The flavor profile is a strawberry and red plum blend with a hint of minerality. The finish is dry and subtly fades away. The Panel suggested pairing this Pinot with a grilled Arctic Char or lamb. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Captivating aromas of fresh Bing cherries, raspberry preserves, and dried strawberries quickly emerge from the glass. A second glance reveals elements of cola, green tea, and traces of white pepper and nutmeg. A backdrop of forest floor and wild mushrooms lend complexity and weight to the generous red fruit flavors and classic Russian River Valley finesse. The palate is decidedly textural, silky, and perfectly balanced with abundant acidity, purity, and length.
