Wine Review: This straw colored Chardonnay opens with a musty pear like bouquet with a hint of apple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, pleasantly acidic and very easy to enjoy. The flavor profile is a tasty mild oak influenced apple with hints of pear. I also detected a touch of butterscotch towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors linger for quite some time. I would pair this very nice Chard with chicken and wild mushroom ravioli with a butter cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Complex and surprising aromas fill the glass, offering up notes of stone fruit, Gravenstein apple, honeysuckle, jasmine, and kaffir lime leaf. Flavors of lemon, butterscotch and honey emerge on the palate followed by hints of almond and baking spices. Seamless on the palate, the creamy texture is underlined with a backbone of juicy acidity, delivering a beautiful wine with lovely intensity and persistence.
