Wine Review: This light straw colored Verdicchio opens with a light lemon and faint pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced green apple with notes of almond. I also detected hints of white pepper and lemon verbena. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Verdicchio is food friendly and would pair well with trout almandine. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Golden yellow colored with greenish reflections. Displays intense aroma of ripe yellow fruit accompanied by elegant scents of citrus fruit combined with a note of honey, an ensemble of great complexity and persistence. Seductive and soft but with great character and strength. It is extremely prolonged, warm and elegant. The wine is a perfect accompaniment for an elaborate seafood dish.
