Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a fragrant and inviting black currant and black currant bouquet with hints of bay leaf and smoke. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and nicely balanced. The flavor profile is a delicious dark chocolate and cherry blend with notes of gentle oak and fine minerality. We also detected hints of blueberry and black tea. The finish is dry and its well-managed dusty tannins linger nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this sophisticated wine with a filet mignon.
