Wine Review: This translucent dark red blend from the Piedmont is a very good value. It opens with a mild red cherry, cedar, and floral bouquet that features roses and violets. On the palate, this wine medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, juicy and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a red cherry, mild strawberry, and gentle graphite blend with notes of oak and red plum. I also detected hints of lingonberry. The finish is dry, and its moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. This very good kitchen sink red blend is a perfect mid-week wine. It is versatile and would pair well with lots of foods. Try it with a juicy mushroom burger, spaghetti and meatballs or with a Bertucci’s Pucillo pizza (pepperoni, sweet Italian sausage, mushrooms, peppers, onions, house-made tomato sauce & mozzarella.) Enjoy - Ken
