Wine Review: This slightly opaque and deep ruby colored Syrah based wine from Fulldraw was great first impression for us covering this winery. It opens with a very fragrant dark chocolate and blackberry bouquet with hints of black tea and cured meat. On the palate, this wine this wine is medium plus bodied with bright acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and silky. The flavor profile is blackberry, crushed stone, and black cherry with notes of black tea and cedar. I also detected hints of cinnamon and clove. The finish is dry, and its well-managed fine tannins linger and last for an extra ordinary long period of time. This very impressive wine would pair well with fireplace. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Coming off the exceptional vintage of 2018, we are excited to say that 2019 follows suit. While the wines from the two vintages are noticeably different, they do share striking similarities of incredible texture, complexity and density while still retaining vivid freshness.
