Wine Review: This white gold colored dry-styled Riesling opens with a slight Vaseline and lime bouquet with hints of baby powder and pear. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is very bright, zesty, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tart lime and stony minerality blend with notes of green apple and ginger. I also detected hints of white pepper and a touch of pineapple. The finish is dry and refreshing. I would serve this Riesling cool by the pool or beach this summer. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: An amazingly pure and vibrant dry Riesling from one of the most revered wine estates in the Mosel valley. It balances naturally brisk Mosel Riesling acidity with excellent concentration, a delicate texture, and an ultra-fine fruitiness. It’s a bright and crisp dry Riesling, making it a perfect choice for a variety of shellfish dishes, and is especially ideal as a partner for briny, cold-water oysters.
