Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Riesling opens with a wet stone and petrol bouquet with a hint of lime zest and peach. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is delicious green apple and gentle lime blend with notes of quince and crushed stone. We also picked up some hints of white tea and peach in the mix. The finish is delicately sweet and drifts away nicely. The Tasting Panel would certainly enjoy this Riesling on its own. With food, we would pair it with cantaloupe wrapped in prosciutto or with crab cakes. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The Brauneberger Juffer Kabinett is a selection of early-picked fruit and has a very fine, delicate structure. It's pure, energizing fruitiness and expressive minerality exemplify the Fritz Haag style. We are especially enthusiastic about the elegant, classically styled Kabinett that we produced this year.
