Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Riesling opens with a challenging matchstick, toasted marshmallow, light citrus and petrol bouquet that eventually dissipates and improves. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, delicately sweet, balanced, and is silky smooth. The flavor profile is profile is a delicious ripe lime, ginger, and green tea blend notes of gentle green apple and gravely minerality. We also detected hints of clover honey and apricot mixed in. The finish remains a pleasantly sweet, extended and drifts away nicely. The Panel would drink this gem on its own. With food we pair this Riesling with a grilled shrimp skewer or a summer fruit tart. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: A brilliantly racy single-vineyard Mosel Riesling made in the delicate and low-alcohol Kabinett style. The Brauneberger Juffer Kabinett is a selection of early-picked fruit and has a very fine, delicate structure. It's pure, energizing fruitiness and expressive minerality exemplify the Fritz Haag style.
