Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a moist pipe tobacco, strawberry, and black cherry bouquet with hints of menthol. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright and rounded. The flavor profile is a blackberry and oak blend with notes of stony minerality. We also detected hints of oolong tea, red raspberry, and herbs. The finish is dry, and its persistent moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with a Brazilian steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The grapes for our 2018 Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon are grown on the hillside next to Oak and Redwood groves, making this wine a true expression of terroir. This garnet hued wine has pleasant aromas of black currant, cherry, fig, with subtle hints of cocoa and star anise. A full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, it has a delightful balance acidity and velvety tannins.
