Wine Review: This quaffable deep red colored Zinfandel from Dry Creek Valley has an enticing smoky, earthy, dark cherry and warm vanilla bouquet. It is full bodied, with medium acidity, nicely balanced, dry and firm moderate tannins. On the palate, it has jammy dark cherry, stewed plum, blueberry and toasty vanilla flavors. I also found some cocoa and subtle spice notes. It has a nice extended finish with hints of tobacco leaf. This Zin would be great with some grilled sausages. – Mark
Winemaker Notes: In this full-bodied wine, look for aromas of black currant, red cherry, dried cranberries and subtle notes of tobacco and dark chocolate. It is a well-structured Zinfandel with bright acidity and balanced firm tannins. Flavors of plum, black currant, raspberry, and cocoa carry through to its delightful finish.
