Wine Review: This light straw colored Chardonnay from the Russian River opens with an oak and pear like bouquet with hints of apricot. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and a tad sweet and fruity. The flavor profile is a tangerine and green apple blend with notes of light vanilla oak and minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity are nicely prolonged. The Panel thought this Chard would pair nicely with broiled grilled scallops in an orange cream sauce or with grilled tilapia with a mango-lime relish. Enjoy - KWGTP
