Wine Review: This dark red colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Fritz opens with blueberry and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and nicely balanced between its fruit and acidity. The flavor profile is a mild red currant and cherry with notes of integrated oak. I also detected hints of plum and cinnamon. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are slightly prolonged. This Cab would pair well with pulled pork sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The grapes for our 2014 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon are grown on the hillside next to Oak and Redwood groves, making this wine a true expression of terroir. This garnet hued wine has pleasant aromas of black currant, plum, raspberry, with subtle hints of cocoa, fire roasted marshmallows and brown sugar. A full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, it has a delightful balance acidity and velvety tannins. Flavors of black currant, blackberries, and baking spices are abound.
