Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir from Frei Brothers opens with fragrant strawberry and black raspberry bouquet with hints of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, not overly complex, but very friendly. The flavor profile is black cherry with nicely integrated light oak. I also detected a hint of black raspberry and some black pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins fade away nicely. This Pinot would be a nice crowd pleasing glass pour and would pair nicely with a sauteed mushroom and Swiss burger. Enjoy - Ken
