Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Viognier opens with a fragrant and inviting peach bouquet with a hint of orange and pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, and savory. The flavor profile is a mineral infused tangerine with notes of white pepper, green apple and peach. The finish is dry and its flavors settle in nicely. The panel suggested that this wine would pair well with linguine with scallops and clams or Old Bay grilled shrimp. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The wine is a fresh greenish straw color. The aromas are lively with floral notes integrated with white peach, grapefruit, green banana and lemon grass. With a soft and voluptuous body and texture, this Viognier is seductively pleasant with juicy fruit and white peach flavors. The distinctive floral fruit and lingering long finish underscore the versatility of this variety. While it has broad base appeal as a stand alone glass of wine, it can be paired with many dishes, especially spicy Thai, Indian, Mexican or Asian cuisine.
