Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Chardonnay opens with a mild oak and apple bouquet with a hint of oak and honey. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and creamy. The flavor profile is a tasty apple and pear blend with nicely integrated oak. I also detected a touch of butterscotch in the background. The finish is dry and its flavors settle in nicely. This wine is very food friendly and would pair well with chicken cordon blue or pasta carbonara. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Youthful greenish straw in color, this chardonnay exhibits ripe fruit aromas of banana, apple, pear, coupled with tropical fruits. Adding to the complexity, the oak aging is fairly integrated adding spice, like nutmeg, vanilla, fresh coconut, and the nuance of angel food cake with a slight butterscotch. This wine has great viscosity, depth and an intriguing minerality. The flavors on the palate are predominantly citrus, lemon-lime and peach.
