Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored Napa Cabernet received very consistent scores from the panel. It opens with a black cherry bouquet with a hint of cassis. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a mild black currant with notes of oak. We also detected some black plum and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins fade away nicely. This versatile Cab would pair well with many foods. The panel suggested Shepherd’s pie, beef stew or Peking ravioli. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2010 Cabernet has a rich dark ruby-garnet color that is very enticing to the wine lover. The aromas of dark cherry, red plum and blackberry are integrated with the spicy sweetness of oak, cedar, cinnamon, clove and toast. With the subtle sweet aroma of a humidor, this wine has an abundance of complex aromas and flavors. The body is very full with a soft entry, coupled with dark cherry/berry flavors that develop from start to finish. With great texture and mouth feel, this Cabernet is full bodied, rich and opulent.
