Wine Review: This light red colored Pinot Noir from Frank Family opens with a black raspberry and black tea bouquet with hints of black pepper and black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and savory. The flavor profile is spiced red plum and black raspberry blend with notes of root beer and cardamon. I also detected some hints of Chinese five spice and clove. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and mild tannins linger nicely. I would pair this Pinot with Sheri’s sausage stuffed mushrooms. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Lively, focused, and well-balanced, this wine lifts tangy raspberries and juicy black cherries with bright acidity and a light touch of tannin. Cardamon, clove, and black pepper nuances add beautiful complexity for an elegant finish. Pair with sweet and savory bite-sized sweet potato rounds.
