Wine Review: This straw-colored Chardonnay from Frank Family is really good! It opens with a green apple, lemon, and light oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and bright for a Chard. The flavor profile is an oak, lemon, and ginger blend with notes of Anjou pear and chamomile tea. I also detected faint hints of vanilla, white pepper, and a touch of mild pineapple in the aftertaste. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely extended.
