Wine Review: This medium purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon FROM Frank Family is Excellent! It opens with a blackberry and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated gentle acidity. The mouthfeel is well balanced, smooth, gentle, and elegant. The flavor profile is black currant and blackberry blend with notes oak and stony minerality. We also detected some hints of blueberry and black cherry in the mix. The finish is dry, and its fine tannins are extended and linger for quite some time. The Tasting Panel would drink this Cab in the near term with a filet mignon. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Named in honor of Richard Harvey Frank, this Cabernet sees small additions of Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc. It is soft and supple, with currant and blackberries at its core. A mix of cinnamon and dark chocolate play well against its savory components of dried herb and dusty earth.
