Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay opens with a mild oak and light lemon bouquet with a hint of pear. On the palate, the wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a ripe cantaloupe and lemon blend with nicely integrated mild oak and a hint of mango. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This wine would pair well with roasted chicken with figs and vidalia onions. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2011 Frank Family Vineyards Chardonnay is pale yellow in color and delivers aromas of apricot, apple and pineapple, laced with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon and hazelnut. The palate is bright and elegant, with succulent fruit flavors of baked apples, quince paste and hints of spice. A perfect level of a creamy texture in the mouth, and the bright, fresh acidity give this wine great balance and provides a persistent finish.
