Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Napa Valley Zinfandel opens with a fragrant boysenberry bouquet with a hint of black raspberry and tobacco. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and fruit forward. The flavor profile is plum with hints of black cherry. We also detected a touch of cinnamon and cedar plank. The finish is dry, pleasant and brief. The panel suggested pairing this Zin with a pulled pork sandwich or eggplant parmigianna. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: With dark and deep color, this wine displays captivating blue and magenta hues around the rim. Sweet and savory scent of herbs and raspberry jam, combine with smoke cured meat and hints of black pepper in the background, enveloping the nose. The palate is soft and fleshy complemented by earthy and toasty notes and lingering ripe sweet plums flavors.
