Wine Review: This opaque and pitch black colored Petite Sirah opens with a mild blackberry and blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is balanced, rich and very fruit forward. The flavor profile is a concentrated ripe blackberry with notes of blueberry jam and a touch of old oak, anise, and black plum. The finish is dry and its very dusty tannins show really nice length. This Petite Sirah would pair very well with a thick well-marbled ribeye steak. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The wine has deep concentrated purple hues characteristic of Petite Sirah. Aromas of black berries roasted with allspice, vanilla and black licorice lead to a wine that is concentrated and powerful, with full luscious tannins that intertwine with dark fruit and a rich textured finish.
