Wine Review: This dark red colored Syrah based blend is a very good value wine. It opens with a musty oak and damp earth bouquet with a hint of black cherry in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a light plum and blueberry blend with hints of light oak and black pepper. The finish is dry and subtle. While this wine is not complex, it is a very friendly quaffer. I would enjoy this on a weeknight with a bacon cheeseburger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Brooding, concentrated aromas of black fruit and licorice are balanced by bright notes of floral notes of violet, strawberry and raspberry. The graceful palate unveils good roundness, dense tannins and an elegant structure with hints of spice and pepper that makes this aromatic bottling exceptionally food friendly.
