Wine Review: I recently re-tried this light yellow colored Chardonnay. It opens with a musty mild lemon bouquet with a hint of faint butterscotch and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, round and slightly creamy. The flavor profile is an oak influenced mild butterscotch with notes of pineapple and a hint of lemon. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. I found this Chard to be a very good everyday Chard. I would pair it with Theresa's homemade mac'n cheese with ham. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Appearance: Pale yellow Aromas: Bright and enticing nose showing layers of citrus, rich pear tart, honeydew melon, toasted hazelnut, and mineral notes. Complemented by hints of honeysuckle and vanilla cream. Flavors: Vibrant d’Anjou pear and Fuji apple, with subtle pineapple, citrus, and honey highlights. The round and full palate is silky and bright, with good minerality, creamy complexity, and a long, clean finish of mineral, white nectarine, and Meyer lemon.
