Wine Review: We loved the 2007 Foxglove. It was one of our favorite bargains last year. The 2008 is a very nice follow up. It is yellow colored and opens with a mild citrus bouquet with hints of apricot, pineapple, and lemon peeking thru. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and slightly crisp while showing pleasant acidity. The flavor profile is a mild mineral and tropical citrus blend with some green apple notes mixed in. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing for a chardonnay. There is no malo or oak used in this wine. So it will appeal to readers who like fresh fruit driven Chard. It is food friendly and I would pair it with bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoy - Ken
