Wine Review: This dry-styled Riesling from the Seneca Lake is almost clear with a shade of white gold on the rim. It opens with a lime and flinty wet gravel like bouquet with hints of candle wax. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced, clean and smooth. The flavor profile is a lime and green grape blend with notes of Macoun apple, almond paste and touch of lemon pith. The finish is dry, warm and a bit brief. While this Riesling is not overly complex, it is very good. The Tasting panel suggested pairing it with roast pork or smoked oysters. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Silvan Riesling is all about capturing Riesling's exuberance while dialing in subtle flavors and textures from barrel fermentation.
