Wine Review: This light golden straw colored “Semi-Dry” Riesling has an inviting bouquet of apricots, citrus, tangerines and pineapple with subtle hints of coconut. On the palate, this light bodied wine from the Finger Lakes is lively and slightly syrupy with lime, melon, and coconut flavors. I also detected some hints of honey mixed in as well. The nicely balanced crisp acidity was quite enjoyable and I thought the finish was refreshing with a slightly dry green apple appearing, then they faded away nicely. I would pair this Riesling with mussels in a white wine and garlic broth. - Joe
Winemaker Notes: Loads of tree fruit aromas, along with guava lime zest, are found in this fragrant wine. The palate is perfectly balanced, with a soft yet zesty finish. The moderate sweetness makes this Riesling incredibly versatile. Lovers of rich, complex wines will find this wine highly cellar-worthy. This well-balanced Riesling is a perfect match for spicy Asian dishes.
