Wine Review: This dark purple colored red blend from Australia opens with a black raspberry, violets, and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and smooth. The flavor profile is a black raspberry jam and black plum blend with notes of licorice, minerality and black cherry. Its moderate dusty tannins and fruity flavors stick around for a very long time. This wine is a quaffer and will not last long. I would pair it with grilled marinated steak tips. Enjoy - Ken
